Playing an Instrument?

A big part of my Life Art is … music, harmony, resonance, tone… all of it. It can completely transport and transform :) Since childhood, it has stirred me this way: past the mundane, through the tall grasses and wild flowers, through the high branches and leaves of the trees to the clouds and so far above. So today, I puzzled over whether to purchase a ukulele or a mountain dulcimer. I have decided upon the dulcimer, I think. Your opinion is appreciated. There is something about the dulcimer.

Last summer, I tuned and played my 6- and 12-string and played on a regular basis: I left one in different tunings and one in standard. I think there was this double drop D I adored. Picked up from Steven Stills. Joni was the queen of tunings.

Such is the magic and spice of life! Music is an integral part for me. A sort of resonance to the weave. :)
